Everest Base Camp Trek has been quite popular among the tourists and foreigners for a simple reason that the trek allows us to reach closer to the world’s tallest mountain peak and behold its amazing beauty. Everest Adventure is not that different from Everest Base Camp Trek, however, during Everest Adventure tourists and trekkers also have the opportunity to witness Chola Pass, the most famous Pass of Khumbu region, and the Gokyo Lake and Valley. Gokyo Valley is a wonderful valley situated at the base of Gokyo Peak and the wonderful Gokyo Lake also adds flavor to the Everest Adventure. On the second morning, you will board a flight to the Lukla Airport, also commonly known as Tenzing-Hillary Airport. It is a wonderful mountain flight and the flight itself can be no less than an adventure as the airport is enlisted as the most dangerous airport in the world, given the location, altitude and topography. In less than 30 minutes, you will reach Lukla while enjoying the breathtaking views of the mountains during the flight. After landing at Lukla, you will take light breakfast and embark on the trek. In around 3 hours, you will reach Phakding village where you will be staying overnight at a guesthouse.

On the third morning, you will resume your trek and follow the trail along the Dudh Kosi River while ascending through Himalayan Pine and Deodar Cedar forests to the ultimate destination, that of popular village of Namche Bazaar. The village of Namche has remained a historic trading point for Nepalese and Tibetan traders who exchange salt, dried meat and other consumable and textile items. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Namche.

Day 04: Rest day in Namche for acclimatization

The fourth day of the trek you will be spending in Namche  for acclimatization purpose. As the altitude will now increase significantly, a day for acclimatization is paramount and strictly advisable for prospective trekkers. One can spend the day in Lukla visiting the local Bazaar of Namche or visiting the nearby Sherpa villages. If you are not much tired and are ready for a few hours of trek, then you can go to Everest Hotel for great panoramic views of Mount Everest, Mount Lhotse and others. Located at an altitude of 3900m, Everest Hotel is the hotel that is situated at the highest altitude in the world. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 05:Trek to Dole (4190m) 5 hrs

The trail is easy in the begging as you cross valleys decorated with the rhododendron, juniper and large coniferous forests. You can also see Sherpas bringing their herds of Yaks for grazing on the green pastures. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 06:Trek to Machhermo (4470m) 5 hrs

The trail now becomes gradually difficult as the trekkers will have to negotiate with the thick forests, the increasing altitude and the lack of settlement areas. The trails continue to climb up along the side of the valley until it reaches Machhermo. It is also believed that the region of Machhermo is the home of Yeti, mythical snow man. It is believed that Yeti lives on snow and somewhere around the region of Everest. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 08:Gokyo to Dragnak (4700m) 3 hrs

Day 09:Trek to Chola Pass and to Dzongla (4830) 7 hrs

The most crucial day of the trek is on the ninth day as it is a long trek and you have to reach the Pass by 9-10 AM in the morning else the weather conditions will deteriorate and greatly hinder our journey. The trek starts early in the morning at 5 AM. The trail can also be difficult due to snow and slippery way. Strong winds and the high altitude could also pose problems for the trekkers. However, once you reach the Chola Pass, you will forget all the difficulties that you endured during the trek as you will be dazzled by the view from the top. Then descend to the Dzongla at noon. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 10: Trek to Lobuche (4910m) 3 hrs

Today will be a short trek compared to yesterday’s trek it's only for around 3 hours and you be at Lobuche where you will be staying overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 12: Trek to Kalapatthar (Everest Base Camp) -5364m and back to Gorak Shep and Dingboche (4410m)

Kalapatthar is also the Everest Base Camp and it is located at an altitude of 5364 meters. And it is also the point from where the Everest expedition starts. After staying at Kalapatthar for some time, you head back towards Gorak Shep. A couple of hours hike will bring us back there. You will have lunch at Gorak Shep and will then head towards Dingboche, the place for overnight stay on day twelve.

Day 13: Trek to Namche 7 hrs

Journery back to Namche is quite easy and comfortable as it traverses through several Sherpa settlement areas and villages. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Namche.
