Royal Jungle Package

Bardia national park is situated in Mid-Western Nepal occupying the Karnali flood plain, the Babai river valley. It is a major component of Tiger Conservation Landscape. Its proposed extension has been declared a ‘Gift to the Earth’.

The park has a sub tropical jungle protecting the ecosystem and conservation area of the endangered tiger and its prey species. This park considered as one of the most picturesque national park in Asia. The park is also the house of endangered species like Royal Bengal Tiger, bear, wild boar, leopards, Asian elephants, black buck, deer, crocodile and river dolphin as well.

It is the common home for 59 species of mammals, 407 types of birds, 52 kinds of reptiles, and 124 species of fish. Some of the endangered birds found in the park are Bengal florican, Lesser Florican, Sarus and cranes.

Bardiya National Park is another important and protected National Park of Nepal which was established in 1988 with an area of 968 square km. Bardiya National Park is the largest National Park of Nepal that lies along the border of Karnali River in Bardiya district. During the Sugauli Treaty in 1814, Nepal had lost its maximum region with East India Company, which was later returned to Nepal in 1860. Bardiya National Park was announced as a Royal Wildlife Reserve in 1982 and in 1969 it was known as Royal Hunting Reserve. At last in 1988 it was declared as a National Park. Bardiya National Park is the reinforced habitat for the endangered type of animals and birds with more than 30 varieties of mammals, migrated and inhabitant species (300), and many other species of reptiles and fish. Currently this area is known for the key area in favor of wildlife’s habitat. When you reach this area, it will feel as if you are in a beautiful paradise where you can experience new and different environment. 

Bardiya National Park is well liked not because of the presence of varieties of birds and animals but it is because of the massive natural beauty. The National Park is termed as one of the best as it is providing shelter for many endangered animals. Another thing for the popularity of Bardiya National Park is because of the presence of the rare species of Tiger. You will get the opportunity to view different species of Tigers here. Some other animals are one horned Rhino, Himalayan Black Bear, Ghoral and many others. 

You can spend your time in Wildlife Sarafi that will be a memorable moment and can change life for those people who adore wildlife refuge with dramatic landscapes and obviously the traditional settlement. The area is located far from the unwanted sounds and noise. That means Bardiya National Parks is an ideal place for peace and calmness. Some people who are keen on to spend overnight in tented camp will have to bring all the required materials by yourself as it is not done by anyone but it does not mean you are prohibited too.

Outline Itinerary:

Day 01: Warm Welcome and general briefing.

Day 02: Whole day jungle trek with Packed Lunch.

Day 03: Elephant safari & Jeep Safari. 

Day 04: Fishing Golden Masher in Karnali River.

Day 05: Whole day wild rafting. (15-20 Km) 

Day 06: Bird Watching and Black Buck Tour. 

Day 07: Final Departure.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Warm welcome and general briefing:

Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed with warm greetings. You will be introduced with the representatives and he/she will let you know about local places, Visit to Tharu museum and the crocodile breeding center. Overnight stay at Resort with a pleasant touch of nature.

Day 02: Whole day jungle trek with Packed Lunch:

Today you will perform whole day jungle trek with reputed local guide with the knowledge of the jungle and wild life tracker, to watch and to learn the behavior and nature of the wild life. You will be served with the packed lunch inside the Jungle while trekking. Overnight stay at Resort.

Day 03: Elephant safari & Jeep Safari:

Your jolly morning will start with the elephant back safari to observe the wildlife views from the top of the Asian elephants. During the elephant safari, you will notice many wild animals and different creatures gifted by the nature with the chirping of many colorful birds. After taking some rest, jeep safari will be managed to explore the deep forest into the jungle covering large area of the Park.

Day 04: Fishing Golden Masher in Karnali River:

With the pleasant morning, you will be served with the delicious breakfast and drive toward to the Karnali River which is the longest river of Nepal (507 KM long). It originates from Mansarover and Rakes Lake and receives many snows fed rivers such as Mugu Karnali and Humla Karnali at Himalayan belt. You will be provided with the fishing rod for fishing the Goldern Masheer in Karnali River. Today you will be great surprised with the hospitality by the representative with camping on the bank of the Karnali River.

Day 05: Whole day wild rafting (15-20 Km):

Another important day starts with a great surprise from our representative. Your whole day long wild rafting (15-20 Km) inside the National Park with different surprising activities will be arranged with the close views of the different endangered species and wildlife found inside the National Park. Overnight stay at Resort.

Day 06: Bird Watching and Black Buck Tour:

Bird watching is considered as one of the major attraction in this park. Many endangered species of birds like Bengal florican, Lesser Florican, sarus and crane are found, Siberian birds also migrate in this park on the winter season. Black buck is also one of the popular spices found in the park. Today again you will get to watch a farewell dance organised for you by the Tharu Community people with Typical cultural program and typical local taste of Tharu community cuisine. You will enjoy your last night with the pleasant touch of nature in the resort.

Day 07: Final Departure:

Sad but true, your adventure and extreme activities will end today. Transportation facilities will be managed for you. On your way to home, we have plenty of time to plan our next adventure in the wonderful country Nepal.
