Overview

Tsum Valley Trek is one of the lesser known trekking routes in Nepal. Tsum Valley Trek takes one to the sacred pilgrimage valley of ‘Tsum’ located in the western Nepal part of Nepal called Gorkha. It is believed that the word \'Tsum\' has its origins from the Tibetan word 'Tsombo' meaning vivid or clear. Tsum Valley Trek is relatively less explored trekking trails in Nepal as most of the foreigners prefer to trek along some other popular and well known trekking trails like the Annapurna Base Camp or the Everest Base Camp Trek. Tsum Valley Trek, however, brings with it the opportunity to behold the majestic beauty of the several mountain peaks including the Ganesh Himal,Sringi Himal, and many others. The trekkers will also have the opportunity to learn about the local culture and religion of the people. The local people of Tsum Valley mostly are of Tibetan origin & speak their own Tibetan dialect. The altitude of Tsum Valley Trek varies drastically from 1900 meters to over 5000 meters. Tsum Valley Trek is one of the rare chances to explore the unsurpassed region of western Nepal and enjoy the natural beauty on offer.
